Koonyai Studio announced that 5% from jewelry sales will be donated monthly to support the protesters until the whole North Dakota Access Pipeline ends. This initiative is aimed at fighting for clean water.
A small group of people are fighting tirelessly to protect water. The Dakota Access Pipeline controversy has been in the news for several months with no end in sights. The pipeline is in path of many rivers, Native Americans burial site, and sacred lands. Many Native Americans and allies are currently protesting the process.
In addition, the studio owner created a crowdfunding program “Send A Postcard” where you can buy a post card of her original doodles for $5, postage included, send directly to anyone. 100% proceed will go directly to Sacred Stone Camp to use toward legal funds and supplies for protesters (aka our water protectors).
