L’École de joaillerie de Montréal (ÉJM) takes part in the 14th edition of La Nuit Blanche on March, 4th, 2017. To celebrate the 50th anniversary of Expo’67 in Montreal, the organizers will bring to the center of the event projects inspired by it. l’École de joaillerie de Montréal also decided to organize an exhibition and a contest.
The exhibitionn 1967 will be presented at the Gallery of l’ÉJM from February, 27th till March, 19th, 2017.
Prize of the contest*: a discount of $400.00 for the fees for the courses of continuing education or mastering for the year 2017-2018.
*the administrative and teaching staff of l’ÉJM is not admitted to the prize.
You can create your jewelry piece:
- by immersing in l’Expo Terre des Hommes (Expo 67)
- by inspiring with the taste for modernism of that epoque
- by highlighting memorable artworks datin back to 1967
- by exploring the technological advances of the 60s
- by plunging back into the futuristic vision of the time
No exact reproductions of the 1967 flagship elements are permitted!
