Fly me to the Moon

About my interest to space, my favorite song and the new jewelry project.

"Fly me to the Moon", originally titled "In Other Words", is a song written in 1954 by Bart Howard. Frank Sinatra's 1964 version was closely associated with the Apollo missions to the Moon. But my personal favorite was made by Julie London.

To give you an idea of how I love this song - I painted it on the wall over my piano at home.

But it's not just the song. Long story short, if you follow my social media, you already heard that the only industry in which I would Ever Potentially Like to work after my jewelry company, is space.

Imagine mining rare metals on asteroids or a comet fully packed with diamonds... Isn't it a sweet jeweler's dream?

However, I found one more way to put these two things together. I'll create something (don't want to disclose yet), totally related to space and made ethically of gems mined in Canada.

I am taking it really seriously, as the scales of this project will bypass everything I've done for the moment.

Even my bee.

I am heading this February to Haute École de Joaillerie in Paris to develop the concept. And it will take a couple of months after to create it.

Stay tuned, I will keep you posted on each stage of this exciting project.
