Geneviève Juillet (Montreal, Quebec)
Jewelry by Geneviève is a never ending journey into the texture and play of metals. Her creations are based on joining pieces together, allowing freedom of movement and fluidity.
"I am a jeweller since 2005. Graduated from the École de joaillerie de Montréal, I received the award of excellence of my class. I also won second place for the Triennial of excellence for graduates in Fine Crafts in 2006 and I was a finalist for the François-Houdé award in 2007. In 2015, I was awarded with the Ovations Vaudreuil-Soulanges prize in my category.
I use textures and movements to create delicate and feminine sterling silver jewelry.
Texture inspires me, as much by the play of materials, surface treatment or by its finish. It gives my jewelry a soul, character and contrast."
