Statement colourful earrings || Copper, powder coat, steel
They are handmade from recycled copper electric wires. The wires have been stripped, cleaned, drawn to different diameters, formed, soldered and finally the colour is applied with a process called powder coating.
Powdercoating is a process which creates a hard and durable layer of plastic on the surface of the metal. It is much harder than paint or spray paint, and will take a fair amount of abuse.
They have hand applied 24 karat gold leaf detailing. This is genuine gold, and has the rich, warm colour of 24 karats.
The extra long hooks are made from surgical steel. They come with a small rubber stopper to prevent slipping.
