Hello from the team
.
I signed the lease for a nice big front store on March 6th. On March 15th Montreal was shut down for nearly three months.
.
I just came back after my winter studies in Paris, with rainbows in the eyes from what I learnt at the jewelry school and the grand ateliers that I had a chance to visit. Right before that I had to move out from my previous studio and now felt like there’s no way back. Only to open a bigger, better joaillerie, to bring there everything I want, everything I can, all my universe. Now is the time!
.
The lockdown knocked me down (locked me down?!), and I spent all those months drawing and re-reading the book by Francesca Cartier Brickell “The Cartiers”.
Reading about how Cartier survived two world wars, the Great Depression and times with 100% taxes on jewelry brought me some comfort.
.
I still have so many things to finish at the new place. When I engaged into it I had no idea of how much of EVERYTHING it would demand. But I’m sure to get there, slowly, step by step. And I really love to work there and to meet all of you and, as always, full of new plans and ideas I never tried before, and lots of your beautiful projects. Stay tuned for everything

Salut de notre équipe
.
